INTRODUCING FIELD TRIPS!
Naturescapes is happy to introduce a new concept in photography instruction -------- FIELD TRIPS!
Field Trips give you a chance to join either or both of us as we scout out new locations for workshops and do some photography for ourselves. We all like to get out and enjoy nature and get some great images in the process.
During a structured workshop, we as instructors do not get a chance to do much shooting on our own. We approach workshops as a time to help you as particpants, not a time for our photography projects.
Field Trips are a way for us to work on our projects and take stock photographs while we scout out locations for new workshops. As a participant in a Field Trip, you get to attend an exploration session at a reduced rate from a structured workshop. The instructors will answers questions and do some limited field instruction. You also get to experience the way that we approach an area and how we obtain our photographs. You will be getting the benefit different perspectives in shooting and sometimes new techniques. We will spend a lot of time in the field, even during harsh light hours.
In the evenings we can get together over dinner and talk photography as well as answer questions about the day. However, this is not a formal structured workshop; it is intended as a time to get out and shoot for all of us.
When a Field Trip is scheduled, at least one instructor is committed to attend even if no participants signed up. We will try to arrange special rates on hotel rooms whenever possible. The cost of Field Trips will vary depending on the trip location and length of the trip. If only one instructor is committed to the trip, the other may or may not attend. The advertised instructor is the one that is guaranteed to be there.
